Greg Nichols is a woodworker and a builder with the know-how to wire his own house. He’s also the new president of Salina Area Technical College, where students can learn those skills and many more.

Nichols, who most recently served as vice president of academic affairs at Colby Community College, was selected as Salina Tech’s second president. He started July 1, succeeding Greg Goode, who retired after serving as president since 2009.
