Hundreds of students from across the state on Wednesday came to Salina to learn about and the manufacturing industry.

Great Plains Manufacturing took part in the nationwide Manufacturing Day and showcased the variety of jobs and parts of the manufacturing industry.

“This was to spread awareness about manufacturing and show students there are opportunities for them at Great Plains Manufacturing, as well as manufacturing in general,” said Jeren Francois, human resources recruiter for Great Plains.

Great Plains had multiple stations set up to highlight different areas of the company.
