For the 11th year, the Salina Area Technical College campus was littered with a variety of vehicles. Hundreds of cars, trucks and in between were on display Saturday morning for folks to enjoy at the school’s Vehicle Extravaganza.
“Most are local, but some travel from out-of-state for this event,” said SATC marketing and advertising specialist Mike Strand. “In addition to vehicles on display – not only cars, but also antique farm equipment, trucks and even custom bicycles.”
Originally started by a former recruiter of Salina Tech, Blane Schloo, the event raises funds for scholarships as well as giving the public a chance to view and appreciate the campus and the opportunities it has to offer, while also enjoying some amazing sights on four and two wheels.
