DeLoss Dulohery has been interested in working with metal since he was young, and he got a jump-start when his high school AP Chemistry teacher gave him a forge that had been in the family for generations. He still uses the forge for his blacksmithing hobby.
For the past eight years, he’s worked for several local companies, including Bergkamp Construction, The Bradbury Company and Great Plains Manufacturing, as a Machinist and Fabrication Tech.
He graduated from Salina Tech’s Machine Tool program in 2016, and previously studied Business and Marketing at Fort Hays State University.
While at Salina Tech, he was involved in Student Government, serving as Treasurer, won a silver medal at SkillsUSA and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
He also holds certifications in Manual Machining, CNC Machining and CNC Programing from the National Institute for Metalworking Skills.
DeLoss joined Salina Tech’s Machine Tool program in the fall of 2018.
