NATIONAL SIGNING DAY

What: National Technical Signing Day

NC3’s Signing Day is designed to honor students who are entering a technical field and to celebrate the dignity of work. The event mirrors the NCAA’s National Signing Day for students who commit to play sports in college. It is designed to recognize students who are entering a technical field, emphasizing the College’s commitment to help you gain the skills necessary to compete in high demand occupations. Salina Tech is one of nearly 100 technical colleges around the country participating in this nationwide event.

Why: Recognition of Career and Technical Education students

Each student participating in Signing Day will be featured in the Signing Day event, receive free Salina Tech merchandise, AND a $1,000 scholarship for the 2023-24 school year.

When/Where: 10 a.m. April 20, 2023 at Salina Tech

Participating students are asked to arrive at 9 a.m. to check in and be ready to start at 10 a.m.

[We are hoping for an in-person event this year, but that could change. In 2021, we asked incoming students to send us a photo or short video of them signing their Letter of Intent and send it to us ahead of time.]

Who: Post-Secondary Students

Signing Day is open to post-secondary students who have applied for admission to Salina Tech for the fall of 2023 in a technical program before March 30, 2023.

**Please note that participating in Signing Day does not guarantee acceptance into a program. Applicants need to apply early to guarantee a spot in the program.
