Program Libraries: Most programs at SATC have their own library or shared library for students to use in their program area. They contain texts, research manuals, resource books, and reference materials used in the programs. The program libraries are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., when school is in session. Contact program-specific or technical course facilities for more information.

Electronic Research Libraries: Some faculty use direct links to collections within Canvas Courses – please request GLRC assistance with any of these databases for academic research.

Click on the link below to access information regarding free, electronic research databases.  Currently, the links take you to the State of Kansas Library system or the database: Gale Opposing Viewpoints Salina Tech Collection. These databases can be accessed from any computer that is connected to the Internet.  SATC students have access to additional volumes of information beyond their individual program libraries: Research Databases

Partnership with State of Kansas Library System and the Salina Public Library: Upon completed enrollment at the start of each semester, each student will receive a Salina Public Library card and State of Kansas Library System access code. Information will be delivered to each student’s Salina Tech Student Email Account. Students will enjoy fee-free accounts for as long as enrollment stays current.
