9:00 – Graduates arrive at Tony’s Pizza Event Center (Enter through the main doors by the Box Office and check in)
9:15 – Dress Rehearsal and Group Class Photo
11:45 – Graduates released for lunch
1:15 – Gradudates return for Ceremony
After 1:30 p.m. if you are not back and lined up you will not be allowed to walk in ceremony
1:00 – Doors Open for Guests
2:00 – Commencement Ceremony Begins
Lunch WILL NOT be provided. Please plan accordingly.
Graduation Information
Everyone who walks across the stage at commencement must attend the rehearsal. Rehearsal usually takes about an hour. Dress for rehearsal requires your cap, gown and tassel, appropriate clothing and shoes.
A group photograph will be taken of the Class of 2023 during rehearsal. Students who are not present will not be included in the class photo. Please wear the cap, gown, and tassel that were ordered for you. We used the height and weight you provided on your Graduation Application to ensure your regalia fits you. You may keep all of these after the ceremony.
Wear business casual clothing (dress slacks, dresses, and skirts are all appropriate) with appropriate shoes, cap, gown, and tassel provided by Student Services. Please refrain from wearing flip-flops, tennis shoes, or jeans. Also, the college reserves the right to remove decorated caps if they include anything inappropriate.
During the actual ceremony, the photographer will take your photo when you receive your diploma cover from the President. Family and friends are welcome to take photos during the Commencement Ceremony from the designated area.
