Local students farewell at SkillsUSA event

  Students from Salina Area Technical College brought home nine medals from the Kansas SkillsUSA competition in Hutchinson this past week. Three students won gold medals, qualifying them to compete at the national SkillsUSA conference in Louisville, Kentucky in June. Read more at KSAL.com

Salina Tech nursing program gets approved

The Higher Learning Commission has approved Salina Area Technical College’s plan to offer an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program beginning this fall.
