The objectives of Salina Area Technical College’s eighteen month Electronic Engineering Technology program are to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of electronics that can be applied to a wide range of employment.
- Through projects and testing, students will connect analog, digital, and microprocessor theory with practical applications solutions. .
- Demonstrate troubleshooting procedures that meet electronics industry standards in industrial automation and wireless/video communications.
- Demonstrate the knowledge, technical skills, attitudes, and workplace skills foundation needed for a career in many different fields related to electronics and electrical maintenance.
